Do you think it is better to rank presidents by specific categories (foreign policy, economy, legacy, etc.) or simply to give them an overall grade (say, from 1 to 10)?
Ranking presidents from 1-10 overall is probably best as long as there’s some accompanying verbal supporting language explaining the ranking.
I agree. 1-10 is better because not every category applies to every president. I also agree there should be some justification, not just a number.
